Is it Good to Buy ‘Likes’ for your Facebook Page?

by

All the bloggers know how important it is to be popular in Social Media, and when we talking about Facebook, which has the most active users on the web, it’s sheer foolishness if someone is not utilizing it by making a presence on it, which is hardly seen among bloggers.

Facebook offers like box, like buttons, recommend button, share button, to encourage webmasters to promote their content on Facebook. I am sure all the bloggers are using these tools to gamin more and more readers for their blogs.

Liking a Facebook page is like a subscription, where the user gets each update to make on your Facebook page. It is clear that, the more ‘likes’ your page has, the more readers you are going to have for your blog.

This race for getting more like than the other blog helped in emerging a new business of selling ‘Facebook Likes’ for an amount of money.

So, the question is,

Is it good to buy ‘Likes’ for your Facebook page?

While many blogs are able to get thousands of new ‘Likes’ for their Facebook page, it hardly affected their traffic or overall reach on the updates on Facebook. Few of my blogger buddies told me that it’s just all about numbers which makes you happy and you are able to show off your blog’s brand, nothing else is going to happen.

To support this post, I decided to buy 1500 likes on one of my blogs and observed that almost all of them were either inactive Facebook users or they are Fake accounts. The posts updated on the Facebook page, continued to reach the same number of people they were reaching earlier. In short, this ‘Buy Facebook Likes’ is just to show a big number of ‘Likes on your page and nothing else.
