Blogs, by definition, are a type of website which shows the most recent posts first and older posts at last. This make blog just a site with few pages which contains articles, few of my friends, who have visited my blog ( 86Blogger) have asked me what my blog offers, they could see only few articles on the first page , few things in the sidebar and nothing else.

Now, there are so many people in the world, who will think same as my friends. Few things can be done to avoid this kind of reaction.

Of the best way is to use a theme which offers a lot of options, like featured posts, column posts etc. I have written a Review about such themes, they give your blog a magazine look, which makes the maximum number of articles of the front page.

Even if you don’t want to invest money on your blog theme, you can attain this with some free themes available or you can just use your side bar to solve this problem, use plugins and show the popular posts and most commented posts in the side bar. (the tabbed plugin) it helps you to create tabs in your sidebar and you can put your favorite articles, popular articles, most commented articles in different tabs.

Use breadcrumb navigation to show pages at the bottom, so that visitors can jumps to other pages instead of going over to every single page.
